A side-by-side longplay video featuring Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting (Super Nintendo) and Street Fighter II: Champion Edition (Sega Genesis). These were both played and recorded from a MiSTer FPGA. Both are North American versions of the games. While there was no direct "Champion Edition" release on the Super NES, "Turbo/Hyper Fighting" was about as close as you got. Both versions are quite similar, with the obvious differences in visual and sound quality. Both versions have black bars at the top and bottom of the screen, but the Genesis version takes up slightly more screen real estate, not to mention goes full screen for some portions, like the introduction. Can you spot various other differences? Overall both versions are excellent, though I might personally give the edge to the Genesis conversion as it feels a bit more like the arcade game in various ways. Quick caveat here: Since opponents aren't always fought in the same order, I had to do quite the hack job with editing here to get the matches to line up. As such you'll see some level transitions that don't match up. Everything else should be good though!
