As of right now (15th of November 2020) I am pleased with my ships ability to lift so much cargo especially since it is an extra small ship class. It can carry just under 600 tons of cargo and that makes a total weight (Including the ship) of 933 tons. This video shows the stress test and it did need boosters to make outer space.

The Mule is really my test ship since it is the first one I have built. You probably could arrange it better to lift more cargo and make some of the fuel tanks more accessible however, I think it is finished and perfect for what it is.
