why does a game about friggin dinosaurs and fossils have such BUEATIFUL music??? (misspell uncorrected for effect) idk exactly what It’s called, but pay attention to how the harp plays off the melody In the high strings!

this song showed up in my recommended as I was doing a request last week, and I clicked on it without much thought. guys... maybe it’s because it was so unexpected, but it brought tears to my eyes within like a minute of listening to it. I was so surprised at both the song and myself... I knew I had to make a video out of it. somehow it reminded me of Zelda's theme in the Minish Cap, so that's the soundfont I used

I LOOOOVE the strings in Minish Cap, it's so weird that I've NEVER used this soundfont in a video before. the one I’m using was actually compiled by @tssf back in 2004… (what a throwback for him huh?) there are a couple experiments sitting on my computer, but this song right here lets the strings shine beautifully. I found from the VGM sources sheet that they come from the Korg Trinity, but unfortunately nobody's uploaded it's sound libraries anywhere and... I can't spend $1,000 on one lol. hopefully Church of Kondo and specifically @xerxes8014 can continue their work on the restorations (or they could send their resources over to me ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) (also it's been a year since their last Minish Cap upload 😭)

and like I always say, it's a shame that the GBA and DS were stuck with crappy low-bit DACs that led to crunchy audio. most GBA instruments also had extremely low samplerates, but Minish Cap has surprisingly high quality ones around 16000, so good on Capcom!

I also have a version of this done with Twilight Princess's soundfont and it sounds beautiful as well, but something about it is just a little lacking so I'll hold off on that upload till I figure out how to make the mix better
