this song reminds me of spring, so I held it off all the way from when I finished it in September to now lol
this is definitely my favorite area theme in Pikmin 2 (for Pikmin as a whole though it's gotta be either Pikmin 3's Garden of Hope or Tropical Wilds). again I used olimar12345's video as a base, then combined the enemy approaching/battle and working/treasure layers so this video didn't go too long... it's already 10 minutes. I really enjoyed figuring out the note velocities for the battle percussion, which was made easier by just listening to the sunset version since there are less instruments getting in the way
probably the biggest difference here is the steel drum, which I found from the Roland Highest Quality Sources sheet linked below. obviously the C note is suuuuper popular, you can hear it everywhere (I always think of Crank That by Soulja Boy lol). but the reason nobody knows about the other samples is that Roland only included that one on their synthesizers! so it was just as much a shock to me when I found the others on the L-CD1, and I included all of them here. it's a big change, but I think it's really nice
