so yeah, version 2 of this track. or version 1 depending on if you're a purist or not. using only one sample per instrument really makes it feel like a classic videogame soundtrack, huh? though to be honest, I like how the low string samples (not used here) sound in this song, especially when it hits 1:38 and when it gets REAL low at the end. I think my ideal version of this would include all the string samples, maybe all the horn samples too. if you've heard both versions, what do you think?

there's also the thing I mentioned in the other video's description, which is that the string waveforms doesn't exactly match between the game version and the original. so, what I tried to do was crossfade the original sample to match the version used in FF5, and as you can see here I got pretty darn close: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pIZDbB5-uQHT_VuWYcCazsVsdOd5l3SQ/view?usp=sharing I think I could get the first half even closer with more experimentation, but I thought of this pretty close to the video's release so it'll have to do. as a result of this edit, the strings between this video and the other one sound a little different, which only becomes more apparent the higher the notes are
