0A basically timed level :(, so there's little scope to win it faster and after annihilating the surface world you'll spend a bunch of time twiddling your thumbs or digging out the underground for fun.
As is generally the case, the level objectives don't scale with difficulty, so your army which has been training up on strong hero parties will absolutely curbstomp Tanos in the "duels".
