749The City Watch, town guard, the regulars, the red cloaks, these are the working class police of the fantasy world. While no particular set of skills is required, the town guard must be able of sound body, must have a good knowledge of city law, and be observant. Guards in the fantasy realms of Dungeons and Dragons can be very diverse, and while the listing at the back of the Monster Manual is for a Human guard, it doesn't take much to customize this to whatever you might need.
