This is part 1 of my capture of me playing through Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom for the Wii U. This is one of two games included in the "Chronicles of Mystara" release from Capcom. I'm player one (Mike) and Drew is player two.

This Dungeons & Dragons compilation was released on the Wii U way back in 2013, and although I downloaded the game on its release date, I only managed to play through one of the two titles online: Shadow Over Mystara.

A few months later, I tried to play through the other game, Tower of Doom, using online multiplayer, but I simply could not find any lobbies. There probably weren't too many people who downloaded this compilation on the Wii U, and I simply waited too long after its release to complete Tower of Doom.

I tried finding a group to play with using Miiverse sometime before the service was shut down in 2017, but sadly, nothing ever materialized from that. Luckily though, I could always fall on back on old fashioned local multiplayer, albeit with fewer total players.

My friend Drew and I are huge beat 'em up fans, so we always love playing various side-scrolling fighting games such as the Double Dragon and Golden Axe series. When I showed Drew this game he was more than happy to try it out, so after several years I'm finally able to post a multiplayer playthrough, and this time it's in 60 fps.

As I said in my prior playthrough of Shadow Over Mystara, I never played these Dungeons & Dragons games when I was younger (I wasn't even aware of them), but they are really fun games with some interesting features such as the ability to choose different paths and save your progress on the original arcade machines.

In this first part we completed Chapter 1: The Adventure Begins!, Chapter 2: The Road to Darokin, and Chapter 3: The Cruise to Athenos.

Recorded with the Elgato Game Capture HD60 and the Wii U's HDMI cable at native 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. I'm using a Classic Controller and Drew is using a Classic Controller Pro.
