Session XXXV - Part 3 Summary:
A human chops Autumn down to 15 HP.
Win'tyr bloodies the human with an arrow, and the human chops Autumn down to 7 HP.
Round 7 begins.
The creeper stabs Sorrow down to 22/33 HP.
The priest casts his spell on Autumn again, and she collapses under 16 damage.
Autumn fails her first death save.
Coltaine chops into the human, leaving him badly wounded.
Round 8 begins.
The creeper starts creeping away again.
Rekoj bleeds to death on the dais, from which blood is already running down. His pool of blood is now contributing to the rivers flowing down into the pit that Sorrow knows leads to Kalarel.
The Orcus underpriests puts himself between the pit and the party.
Autumn fails her second death save.
Coltaine fumbles at a critical time.
The priest casts his necrotic spell on Coltaine, dropping him to 9 HP.
Win'tyr plants an arrow in the human's head, taking him down, and a second arrow wounds the underpriest. The elf activates his thundering bow ability and knocks the priest back into the pit. The priest's cries ring out for a moment before a splash is heard.
Win'tyr uses an action point, and Coltaine bolsters him up to 13/30 HP. He calls upon his second wind to heal up to 20 HP.
Round 9 begins.
The dark creeper returns.
Autumn bleeds to death. For the third time.
Sorrow reduces the creeper to a charred corpse.
The battle is won, but the cost was high.
The surviving party members take a short rest, knowing an extended rest is a luxury they can't afford with Kalarel so close to completing his ritual.
