1When the vast majority of this game involves trying to simply avoid the infestations, there's a certain sick thrill that comes with being able to shunt them into a room with an active defense turret. Then again, if I can outsmart these things just by opening and closing a few doors, how exactly did they have a hand in the absolute destruction of the human race? For all I know, maybe they just showed up to pick at the remains just like we are.

Duskers is an atmospheric science fiction strategy game developed and published by Misfits Attic for PC. Taking on the role of an unknown operator recently awoken from cryosleep, your only way of interacting with the dangers of the outside world is a small team of drones remotely controlled with a command line interface.
The universe is a lot more empty than you remember it being. No, "empty" is the wrong word. There are plenty of asteroids, ships, and stations scattered around each sector of space. What we're talking about is a complete lack of communication, or movement beyond interstellar drift. Something happened, and it wiped out all of humanity except for you and the team of drones at your disposal. Maybe one of these derelicts will have some answers.. and if not, then hopefully there will be enough scrap to keep your ship together long enough to find some.
