Dying Light 2 - Part 25 - How Dangerous Is This Tower!
1Hey everyone and welcome back to Dying Light 2.
After resting for the night the team are all ready to head into the tower to try and get everything back up and running. Jack Matt is here and tells us that he has gotten some information about a GRE doctor. We head into the tower with Rowe's team. Once in the lift the boys begin to talk to lift the moon, however when we are part way up the lift stops and the power is cut. Unfortunately we wont be able to talk the lift for the next 50 floors we have to make it by foot!
We open the doors and begin looking around at the floor we are stopped on. We cant take any risks as the building is filled with zombies and volatiles. The team slowly approach the room to check it out when a new kind of zombie attacks Wierzbowski. The zombie runs up to him and explodes! This loud bang attacks more of them and the team becomes under attack. Rowe pushes us out of the way of an attack but now he could be hurt. Aiden wakes up and goes looking for everyone, but they are all badly hurt or worse. These zombies explosions deal so much damage to us so we need to be careful. We radio Jack and tell him what has happened whilst we look for Rowe.
Once we find Rowe he is badly hurt, he is happy to see that we survived. Rowe gives us the transmitter and whilst talking to us he takes his last breath. Aiden radios Lawan, she is so angry at us but we need to keep going. Whilst we are being attacked Aiden has one of his episodes and is able to fight the zombies with his fists before passing out. When Aiden comes too Frank is on the radio asking were we are. Frank gives us some information about some night runner equipment that might still be there. After looking around we find the grapple hook that the night runners used to use, this will help us reach the top of the tower. The grapple hook allows us to swing across gaps that we could not jump.
We fins some stairs leading up the tower but these areas are filled with zombies so we will have a fight on our hand. As we get higher more parkour is needed to keep climbing. Once we reach the outdoors near the top the view is lovely, but we still need to go higher. There is a large crane that we are able to move to keep climbing. Frank tries to convince us to glide back down, but we are so close. Lawan says she is coming but we tell her not too. We are so close.
We keep climbing and climbing but it feels never ending, this tower is huge! Frank tells us that Lawan has come for us but he's told Jack to stop her. We tell Frank how close we are and he is surprised. Aiden is able to speak to Frank about why he tried to get the tower back on last time. This is the first time Frank has actually spoken to us without being rude! Frank tries to convince us to hand the radio over to him instead of Jack. Frank is normally so rude and hasn't offered to help us in any way so I decide to stick with the PK's and give the tower to Jack Matt. I have sided with them all this way I am going to continue to see how it ends.
The Peacekeepers are now able to radio through the city and ask others to join and help them fight. After activating the tower Lawan finds us. She is so angry but hugs us before smacking Aiden across the face. Lawan was that worried about us that she even wrecked her shoes to get to us. Lawan tells us we owe her and now have to find her some new shoes! Lawan glides off the building and Aiden follows. Lawan knows of a place were some of her old things are including a pair of shoes.
