Genshin Impact - 153 - Another Strange Statue!
1Hey everyone and welcome back to Genshin Impact.
We still have more to explore of the Chasm for the commission. Zhiqiong is also very determined to get to the bottom of everything happening here. Zhiqiong seems to be ill and we want her to take care of herself. We tell Zhiqiong we will explore the next area to make sure everything is safe and then tell her about the area. We don't want her getting hurt.
We active the door and enter into the deepest parts of the chasm. Once we arrive at the bottom we can see another strange statue that looks very similar to ones we have seen before. Coming from the statue there are trails of purple darkness. We need to follow these strings of purple and reactivate the pillars that have been corrupted by darkness. At these locations enemies will spawn in so we must fight to keep them active.
Once we have activated all 5 crystals and defeated all the enemies in our way to head to the large statue in the middle and strike it with our sword. this causes the statue to release some power pushing us backwards. We land on the floor and a new mechanical enemy spawns in and begins to attack. This battle takes me longer than normal as this enemy has a lot of health and even has times during the fight were we are unable to damage it. There are new mechanics in this fight like breaking ores to fill up our light charge and removing darkness. I found this quite annoying during the boss fight as it was very repetitive, but it was ok for a one off.
After some time fighting the new monster It begins to use one of its big attacks. We see the same person from the cave before use a bow to knock down the statue onto the monsters head saving us. Who could this mystery person be and why did they help us? After some time the statue begins to gravitate back up into the air. There is defiantly something strange with these statues and I cant wait to find out more.
We report everything back to Zhiqiong and hand in the commission now there should not be as much trouble happening in the Chasm. They should be able to start working again but they will need to be careful.
