Dying Light 2 - Part 23 - Plans For The VNC Tower
1Hey everyone and welcome back to Dying Light 2.
There are so many people within the city that need help. I love how open world it is and how many smaller quests you are able to do. It makes the game world feel more full and interactive. There are also challenges placed around the world that we are able to try our hand at.
We speak with a woman who needs some help clearing out the infected. Once we arrive at the location she was talking about there are only a few infected waiting for us. We make sure the area is safe for her and head back to tell her. However when we arrive back her son is there apologising and asking her to come home. We find out that her son is dating someone and his mother does not approve. The two of them continue to fight, we tell her that children grow up and that there own paths someday.
Next we head back to the ship to speak with Juan. The lamps are finally ready so we call Jack Matt to let him know. Jack is going to arrange a meeting so we just need to wait now for the call. Whilst waiting around we see if anyone else needs help. We come across Jolly who wants help with her fathers new girlfriend. Apparently she has killed most of her ex boyfriends and Jolly is worried about her dad. There are a lot of strange relationships in this new world.
Whilst looking through our quest log it seems that the quest with the boy in the water tower has finally been updated and we are able to go and confront Hugh. Hugh has been teaching the kids to seal and survive for anyone who pays. This is such a dangerous job for them, if they are caught they will end up in prison or even killed. Hugh is not going to chase after the boy so he is save to stay at the tower now it is owned by the PK's.
Jolly told us about one of her stepmothers ex boyfriends named Josh who is still alive. We need to meet him at the Fish Eye at night and see what he knows. Whilst at the Fish Eye we meet Aitor who has finally recovered after his illness. He's in good health but his revenge for Waltz took over his life and destroyed his family life. Aitor gives us the Lazarus weapon as he no longer needs it. We continue to speak with people around the Fish Eye for Josh but find ourselves in a meeting with Juan, Jack Matt and Rowe.
Before we are able to take the VNC tower we need to get electricity back on to power the station. Juan & Jack don't get on at all but they have to work together. It is our job to get to the top and power everything back up. We will have a few of the PK's with us too. Once we have finished the meeting we continue to ask around for Josh. Eventually we are able to find his location and head to speak with him.
Josh isn't happy to us but we explain the reason we are her. Josh ignores us and plays music instead to block us out. Josh plays it so loud that it attracts all of the zombies in the area! We now have a fight on our hands. After defeating the zombies Josh agrees to talk to us about Elena. He tells us how he spent all her money on her until there was nothing left. One the money was gone he thinks Elena started to poison him and tells us were to find the hidden stash.
Before we set out to search Elana's apartment we notice Lawan is near by and wants to speak to us. We tell Lawan about the plan with the radio tower but she is not happy that they are sending us in. Lawan tries to tell us how dangerous this plan is but we have to do this job we need to find Mia. Lawan wants us to speak to frank about there plan in the past, but we know what needs doing and agree to meet at the tower with Jack.
