Dying Light: The Beast is a brutal, emotionally charged survival horror game that marks the return of Kyle Crane, the original protagonist from Dying Light (2015). Set in the eerie, mountainous region of Castor Woods, the story unfolds more than a decade after the events of The Following DLC.

🧠 Core Storyline
Kyle Crane, long presumed dead, has been held captive and experimented on by a sinister figure known as The Baron. These experiments have transformed Crane into something not entirely human—granting him volatile powers that blur the line between man and monster. After escaping, Crane sets out on a path of revenge, determined to destroy the Baron and uncover the truth behind the horrors inflicted upon him. Along the way, he faces Chimeras, terrifying super-zombies born from failed experiments, and must navigate a fractured world filled with survivor factions, each with their own agendas.

The game is both developed and published by Techland, the studio behind the original Dying Light and Dying Light 2: Stay Human. It was launched on September 18, 2025 and is playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Windows PC.
