Hell is Us is a haunting, third-person action-adventure game set in the fictional war-torn country of Hadea during the 1990s. Developed by Rogue Factor, the game blends psychological horror, emotional symbolism, and puzzle-driven exploration into a deeply unsettling narrative.
🧠 Core Storyline
You play as Rémi Letam, a UN peacekeeper born in Hadea but raised in Canada. He returns to his homeland to uncover the fate of his missing parents, only to find the country ravaged by civil war and a supernatural phenomenon known as The Calamity.
The Calamity has unleashed monstrous entities called Hollow Walkers, physical manifestations of intense human emotions—Grief, Terror, Ecstasy, and Rage.
These creatures roam the land, connected to their emotional source by a grotesque umbilical cord called The Haze.
Remy sets out to navigate this surreal landscape, traverse cryptic puzzles, and discover the truth behind Hedia's ancient secrets and the twisted legacy of the Ominant, a shadowy organization linked to the country's downfall.
Hell is Us is developed by Rogue Factor and published by Nacon. It was launched on September 4, 2025 and is playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Windows PC.
