Dynasty Warriors 8 XL - Lu Bu Hypothetical Story Mode: Part 2 (Silver Gaming Network)
Tonight we're beginning a playthrough of Lu Bu's Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Complete Edition hypothetical story mode. This will include the Ten Eunichs Rebellion, the Battle of Hu Lao Gate, Yuan Shao's Campaign against Gongsun Zan, and many more.
Lü Bu, courtesy name Fengxian, was a Chinese military general, politician, and warlord who lived during the late Eastern Han dynasty of Imperial China.
Although Lü Bu is described in historical and fictional sources as an exceptionally mighty warrior, he was also notorious for his unstable behaviour. He switched allegiances erratically and freely betrayed his allies. He was always suspicious of others and could not control his subordinates. All these factors ultimately led to his downfall. In the 14th-century historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the details of his life are dramatised and some fictitious elements – including his romance with the fictional maiden Diaochan – are added to portray him as a nearly unchallenged warrior who was also a ruthless and impulsive brute bereft of morals.
Dynasty Warriors 8 (真・三國無双7, Shin Sangoku Musō 7, known in Japan as Shin Sangoku Musou 7) is a video game and the eighth official installment of the Dynasty Warriors series. It is developed by Omega Force and published by Tecmo Koei. The story is based on the 14th-century Chinese historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Having more than 82 characters featured in the game, the game largely based its system on Dynasty Warriors 7 and focused on adding more content for replayability while also making several tweaks to the combat system.
