Now, if you are following up on my title screen video where I wrote that Dynowarz was a decent action game you're probably expecting me to laud lofty accolades upon it. Well, not really. The truth of the matter is that it is just that, a decent - and by decent I mean middle of the road - action game.

Boss fights take the form of a brawl in Cyborosaurus against another mechanical beast, as well as on foot against a Bionic Commando-ish Main System.

Unfortunately, the gamme is very short and the bosses are repetitive and short. Only the final Dinosaur with its size, endurance, and aggression is much of a threat. But I still enjoy the designs, and the game's so short that the video here was no tall order ;).

You may be perplexed by the very abrupt end to the game. I know I was. Not totally uncommon on the NES though.

So, that's Dynowarz. People tend to blow things way out of proportion on the 'net. It's not a bad game and it's by no means the worst game. But by the same token, it seems that most of its creative inspiration was spent thinking up "robot dinosaurs." Heh :).
