A little narration.

Currently at the beginning of the endgame, at this point we want 40 Processors per second. To do this we've gone to another system with a good amount of iron, copper and silicon.

Display the system and the gas giant with 3 orbiting planets. We've only developed one of those to start with, the one with large amounts of iron and copper - it's a mining and smelting planet only. Though it also makes foundations, we ran out elsewhere.

The smelting-manufacturing planet that we start on has power belts and a few mines. Fill out the mines, then do the smelting/manufacturing: 40 iron a second, 80 copper a second, and 120 silicon a second. Iron, copper and silicon also requested from off-planet.

Oversupply is good for the load-balancing algorithm.

Next is manufacturing: 48 circuit boards a second and 80 microcrystalline components a second. Then 5 lines of processors, a total of 40 a second.

For some reason I decided that a single plant of 48 circuit boards was all I needed to start. Uh...derp. Eventually I created 2 more lines, for another 96 a second. A total of 144 circuit boards a second. Overkill...works. Sort of.

At least there's room on the planet for more - it could easily go up to 80 processors a second. More power likely required first, though.

Next we have to make casimir crystals in bulk. That will require a system with 2 gas giants. Soon (tm).

-edit-

I looked at the planet for a bit, then laughed and doubled it all up - we now get 80 processors a second. Final tally is:

Iron: 160/sec plus imports.
Copper: 160/sec plus imports.
Silicon: 180/sec plus imports.

Circuit Boards: 192/sec (running at less than optimal is okay).
Microcrystalline Components: 180/sec.

Processors: 80/sec.

The 1.1GW of power was enough, didn't have to put down more solar panels. It *did* take a while for the silicon production to stabilize - eventually no problems. We shouldn't run out of Processors any time soon.
