Earth Defense Force 6 - The MOST FUN game at TGS/TOKYO GAME SHOW!!!
120I've had people recommend the EARTH DEFENSE FORCE from D3P publishing to me a handful of times. But it always just seemed like some weird, super simple rail shooter or something. And then the other day someone was like, 'Dude- no! It's like a big B movie meets Dynasty Warriors BUT with GUNS!!!!' And I was like 'oh wow!!! That sounds...AMAZING!'
And THEN, so like, last night I can't sleep. So I watch the D3P TGS stream over on STEAM and they show off EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6! And I'm grinning and laughing the whole damn time! Does it look like poop??! Yeah, kinda. It's a very ugly game that wouldn't look that good end of generation on PS2, let alone 4! But there's a charm to it, a punk rock sense about it that immediately made me SUPER interested.
Tomorrow CAPCOM shows off RESIDENT EVIL 8 and I'm assuming THAT will end up the BEST game shown at TGS. And I'm super excited for it! However, for the MOST FUN TO PLAY game award, I'm wondering if EDF 6 isn't gonna give RE8 a run for its money!
