EASY Infinite Lives Trick in Donkey Kong Country (SNES) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #donkeykong
2,193In Donkey Kong Country for the SNES, there's a super easy trick you can perform to earn infinite lives, and it involves continuously bouncing on the head of a single enemy.
Head to the Monkey Mines area and enter the Millstone Mayhem level. Place Diddy Kong in the lead, and lure the first enemy you see to the very left side of the stage.
This baddie is called Krusha or Kruncha, and he cannot be damaged by Diddy Kong alone. In fact, if Diddy Kong jumps on him, Diddy will just bounce off and Krusha will laugh like an idiot.
So, once this Krusha is all the way to the left side of the stage near the wall, jump straight up, then HOLD LEFT IMMEDIATELY AFTER you bounce on Krusha's head. Diddy Kong will begin to repeatedly bounce on this Krusha and after a few moments, you will start to rack up extra lives.
Since the wall to the left side is sloped, the game never actually places Diddy Kong on the floor, and he will basically slide back onto Krusha's head over and over.
Donkey Kong Country actually rewards you with an extra life if you can manage to bounce on eight consecutive enemies, but this is pretty darn rare to actually pull off in game. But each enemy beyond they eighth bounce will also earn an extra life. This trick exploits the bouncing-for-extra-lives mechanic, and can easily earn you 99 lives in just a minute or two!
In fact, you can even earn MORE than 99 lives, even if the game only displays that you have 99.
