That thing was HOT! Ghost peppers, habanero pepper, LOTS of jalapeno pepper, banana pepper, chunks onion,
What little I could taste of the ingredients at the start was absolutely delicious! The dough had a golden crisp as always and topped with garlic butter.🤤
I am slightly disappointed at how little of the sriracha I doused on top on my calzone. As soon as that ghost pepper sauce hit the table that was my dipping sauce of choice.
I can not get over the flavor to heat ratio. I have had some hot sauces that are nothing but ignorant burn for the sake of burn and others that are full of flavor and enhance a dish.
They both do have their place. Let's face it though. With this, I was going for the ignorant burn.😆🤣 What I got was far from just mouth burning hurt.
If you want to try the ghost pepper sauce, but in a lot milder form, you can have it added to any dish but Avenue Pizza does have 2 pizzas with the sauce already on. The Angry Bird and the Casper Pizza.
Do you know those restaurants that you just have to go to even if you aren't that hungry just because you are in the area? Yeah. Avenue Pizza is like that for me.
