I'm replaying Epic Battle Fantasy 3 because it's on Steam and I want all those free cheevos I know how to get. If you've never played it before, it's free and I highly recommend it. That said, it's a big downgrade going back to this from Epic Battle Fantasy 4 which is an improvement in every way.

The Protector is a flunky boss. He mass spawns dangerous minions and they do it all, while also having a variety of weaknesses and resistances. Your best bet is an alpha strike of bomb or typeless damage focused on the White Bit as that one has the heals/buffs. When he charges his insane laser, it will dispel your entire party. Matt and Natalie have 100% Dispel resistance while Lance has 15 Evade and can pretty much dodge anything. This fight goes significantly better than I had hoped, allowing me to slide through without needing Limit Breaks.
