I really screwed up and failed to start the recording again, so the first half of this exploration is missing. I'm really disappointed at that. Sorry about that.

In the first half of the exploration, not in this video:

I had lost all of my upgrades from the last run. I was left at low health, limping, until I used a station that upgraded my integrity by 25% and healed me a bit.

Selene expressed anger at leaving everyone behind to come here. She remembered being at the piano, being able to feel.

This place looks like the Overgrown Ruins except they are overgrown even more, as if many years have passed. Did I return again after a long while has passed, or have I been here all this time but forgot? I found a gun that launches red pylons that interlink and electrocute enemies - that's really useful. But I also find a Carbine gun with the ability Leech Rounds - which heals me when I shoot enemies. So I immediately switched to that one.

The house was here, too. When I entered, the play switched to a child playing a Playstation 5 game - the TV view had Selene standing at the entrance to the house at profile. The child put the controller down and started exploring the house. Selene left her a message that she wouldn't be home and to heat up dinner (a daughter - I frickin knew it...) - Selene had an obsession with the time 8:36. The astronaut was at the kitchen table - I told a story, choosing the options Centuries Ago, a Queen Stole a Witch's Treasure. Then the astronaut was gone and I could only walk sideways. I tried to return to my room upstairs but the door slammed on me and scared the crap out of me because it happened to my right - I couldn't see it happen. I entered another room and saw the astronaut again - he(?) walked up to me, reached out his hands, and tentacles burst from his face mask. Then Selene woke up outside the house, also only able to walk sideways. I found a two-way radio that grants me 10% protection when I have ether, and I could finally walk normally again. Continuing, I ran into seemingly upgraded versions of creatures from the Overgrown Ruins, along with some tentacled plants that launch energy balls. I also fought a new powered up Brute with the pylon gun. The fights weren't that hard since the pylons can hurt enemies you can't see, but it was touch and go for a while. I found a lot of ether.

For the rest of this video, I continue making my way, looking for the two keys I needed to open the Echoing Vault. I see two gateway rooms that I'll clearly make use of later. I ascend the tower, and face someone/something playing an organ. I get the boss to phase 2, but my Leeching Rounds wasn't fully powered up, and I was lacking on the consumables, so I didn't last the whole fight.

So it looks like I'm stuck farming only this biome again, suggesting this boss will be one of the easier ones, like Phrike, but with some added difficulty due to the better weapons I now have access to.

I'm still pretty miffed that I screwed up recording the first half of this.
