So, let’s talk about this tear-jerking, gut-wrenching, stab in the heart (almost literally) episode. So, first of all, I definitely think we took HUGE step towards nygmobblepot today! Seriously, Oswald im so proud of my little bird tonight. He took his first selfless step in his life and is no doubt, 100% in love with Edward Nygma. No doubt about it. And if you really pay attention, you can see how CONFLICTED Ed was with everything tonight. Especially at the end when he was talking to Oswald, you can see the pain and regret in his eyes. I have no doubt Ed loves him back. No doubt. Ed has only ever cried one other time and that was after Kristin died. He was CRYING over Oswald. COME AT ME AND TELL ME HE ISN’T IN LOVE I FUCKING DARE YOU.
Second, honestly, this whole thing is only going to make them stronger, I GUARANTEE. They will make it through; Oswald “you can’t have one without the other” cobblepot is NOT going to give up on Ed. (and if you think he’s dead, just stop.) Ozzie will heal and then see Ed in all his Riddlerness and trust me, they will be friends again within the next few episodes, and seriously, narratively speaking, Gotham has been building towards romance. If you look at the narrative structure, it’s all building up to a nygmobblepot end game. If, however, is not end game, I WILL HAVE SOME FINE CHOICE OF WORDS TO GOTHAM FOR LEADING ME ON BECAUSE LOOK AT THIS. LOOK AT THIS EVIDENCE. Edward “I don’t know what it means” Nygma is in love with Oswald. He just doesn’t know it/conflicted about it right now. Trust me.
So, yeah I know I’ve used this song before but like…its so GOOD??? Interstellar is one of my fav movies and the soundtrack AHHHH IS GORGEOUS! Plus this song had kind of a dramatic and sad vibe going on at the same time which was the emotional flow I was looking for for this video.
