Hi everyone, thanks for coming back to Clevver Movies... it looks like one of our favorite villains may be back on screen as the bad guy.
Ed Norton is currently in negotiations to play the villain in the new Bourne movie -- The Bourne Legacy.
Universal Pictures is rebooting the franchise with Jeremy Renner playing lead assassin, and this time around, the film will be without Matt Damon as super-spy Jason Bourne. There aren't many details at this point, but we do know that instead of featuring Damon's character, Renner will step in as another assassin trained in the same program.
Silver screen beauty Rachel Weisz will play the love interest, and Tony Gilroy will be in the director's chair. The studio is aiming for a production start date this fall, with the film's theatrical release in 2012.
