This game was released for IBM Personal Computers and compatibles running MS-DOS in 1986.
An Asteroids clone, EGA-ROIDS is quite playable. I would have loved to see a little more polish in the game. A back story, some sound effects, music and a menu system. All of these are not THAT hard to put in, and would have put this game over the top.

As it stands, the game is skills based and with keyboard controls that are counter-intuitively laid out on a modern keyboard and un-changeable makes for a steep learning curve and limited replayablity, unless you are trying to beat your own high score and have absolutely nothing else to do.
