6This game was released for IBM Personal Computers and compatibles running MS-DOS in 1986.
Tetris is an amazing game, and was quite a novel concept when it was first released upon the world. This first implementation on the IBM PC was amazingly well written, and plays very well on a machine that is many times faster then the machine it was designed for.
Game play is easy and addictive, and mastery is hard, just like it should be.
