16Zeus presents the "ULTIMATE" longplay upload of Einhӓnder (un-emulated) for the Playstation, a true classic from the golden era of playstation gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.

To mark my "1000th" non-commentry video, I bring you Einhander,..the most impressive, incredible, stunning, awesome 2D / 3D shmup I've ever played,...and I've played thousands, If games were rated by music, this would be a top class classical concerto, It's just simply a jaw dropping beautiful game.
Long in the future the Earth and the moon are at war, you control a dare devil pilot in a top secret ship called Einhӓnder, you must break through all of Earth's defenses, blasting endless enemy ships and doing battle with some of the most awesome looking bosses ever seen in a shoot'em-up, only after you defeat all the enemy and reach the outer atmosphere of the Earth you are congratulated and notified that you are the final target and after your death you will be awarded with full honours, you then turn on your allies in retaliation...what a twist in the story!
The game as said is just jaw dropping, the graphics are mouth watering - changing between 2D & 3D...making it a kind of 2.5D if you will, the amount of parallax scrolling is enormous, the playability is spot on and the 15 MASSIVE bosses are so detailed and realistic that you just stare at the screen in disbelief (my favourite boss: 35:27, he's so f*****g cool!!!), what's also cool is that the bosses mock you in some hard German Fuhrer type language just before you fight them,...just sounds so cool, plus the techno soundtrack is superb,...so good in fact that I bought the original cd soundtrack to this game the same time I bought the game It'self.
What's also nice about this game is that it really feels there is a story going on here, you have voice messages instructing you what your next mission involves once you complete the level, her voice goes perfect with the game,...It's believable.
To play this unemulated in Europe, you will need a modified PS1 which allows foreign games and a gameshark cheat cd from America to allow cheats for the game,...there were never in-built cheats for this game.
The major crime about this game is that it disgracefully and unforgivably was never released in Europe on the superior PAL format, WTF???,...why why why wasn't this released in Europe?!,...someone from Squaresoft speak up and explain!!!
Thankfully my DVD / HDD recorder records PAL60 & NTSC as well as standard PAL, so because of this I was able to produce a perfect quality recording of the stunning shooter.
This will always be my favourite shmup, It's now 19yrs old but it just doesn't seem to date, it looks and sounds stunning.
This truly is a phenomenal game, spectacularly designed with immense detail with ginormous kick-ass bosses thrown in and an awesome techno soundtrack.
Take a bow you guys at Squaresoft, my hat goes off to you for creating such a stunning game.
In this upload I have also included the Bad ending, you get it by failing to stop the rocket in under 3 minutes, check the times below.
Also, I have included the alternate route on level 1 which also results in a slightly different level 1 boss, and I have also included the entire picture gallery at the end, all 100 pictures making this an "ULTIMATE" upload.
I have used the invincibility and Juno cheat so I could upload the entire game for your viewing pleasure.
