new game: touhou kikamu ~ elegant impermanence of sakura, a fangame i really like
my goal is to get as close to lnn as i can, maybe even get it for real??? i've noticed a lot of static stuff in the game, so it might be doable
according to permafrost wolf, marisa&yuyuko is the most viable team for it, so i'm picking them
still though, the density of memo required is unlike anything i've played so far, and i don't have a single touhou lnn (excluding the one in um with the cheaty card set) so i'm feeling intimidated
i'll route kaguya later, for now i want to have something nailed down first, plus touhou bosses are extra complicated so i'd need to spend extra time just for them

btw yes, i'm playing at 640x480, this is the highest resolution that doesn't lag when i try recording it at 60 fps (i will not accept 30 fps)
i gotta prepare a tiny input display profile for when i decide to do runs

shoot the first 4 fairies on their 4th shot (I'll call this strat A), then the next two asap
hug the right side, then shoot the other fairy when the first dies, then go to the middle and destroy all the others with one explosion

kill the first fairy when it's exactly in the middle, the second when it's a bit to the left (I'll call these fairies B)

now there are these groups of 3 fairies with zako flying across, explode as many zako as you can; careful on the second group, the middle spawns pretty close to the left
keep doing this until the midboss

focus, shoot the middle fairy's right cheek
tap left at the last moment to dodge the aimed part, then wait until the last moment again and tap right
at the same time you need to dodge the static part in the middle twice, then in the gap to the right of the middle once

repeat A until new fairies come in
the new ones fall down, time them for juicy cancels (I'll call them C)
there's 4 lone ones, then a pair -- don't switch sides after the fourth to save time

shoot the first fairy a bit late relative to zako, then cancel the rest with teh second fairy, then macro the bullets while hugging the wall; do it again but mirrored
repeat C 5-6 times
shoot B when they're in the middle of shooting cyan kunai the second time; keep doing this until the final part

shoot three fairies at this speed, then wait until the remaining zako gets onto the fourth and shoot the fourth
do it again
