apparently i spent 4 hours on this boss, oh no
turns out the game *is* pretty random... i hope it's fine, the next boss should be easier to route
one thing i noticed is that attack rng is set during the previous attack, so save states aren't as useful as they'd normally be
also i finally figured out why my screen used to turn off at some resolutions -- apparently it's a screen firmware bug that makes it act weird when scaling mode is set to "None", i had to set it to "Full aspect" in xrandr (if anyone with this problem somehow comes across this video, hi)
elegant impermanence of sakura

---- non 1
honestly i'm not sure, the attack is made of static patterns, but there's angle rng and it gets weird
just dodge? this is a stage 1 boss so it's fine
look out for lanes, they form these cells that spin away from kaguya
try dodging the aimed part on the side ahead of kaguya if you can (the right side if she goes right, the left side if she goes left), the other side is usually cramped
---- spell 1
the cyan/blue waves are aimed; cyans go right, blues go left
on the first wave you put your hitbox exactly on the enemy marker, then tap up; yuyuko's dress should be approximately one hitbox above the health bar

++ types of lanes
see thumbnail to understand the following actions
red lanes (R) are those that bullets go across, they're almost horizontal spirals
green lanes (G) are those that bullets intersect, they're walls that rotate around the boss
++

wait in that place until the second cyan wave spawns in (you'll have to dodge a bit)
put your hitbox on the part of the ui to the right of the enemy marker where the lines do backslashes, enter the lane there (if you can't, you either enter the lane to the right and dash left, or vice versa); also note that usually you don't get a lot of time to get there, so you might have to eyeball it
go up inside the G at the height of the safespot before, enter the cyan R in your way, switch to G when you run out of blues or so

the spell dies on the third wave
be careful around the vomit
---- non 2
dodge the first wave, take note of static kunai
then bottom hug and stay on the enemy marker, dodge when you have to (there's some vomit and a branch that falls on you)
---- spell 2
make your hitbox's right side touches the light green corner of the enemy marker that goes outside the game, and the left side almost touches the pointy part, safespot the first wave (this is probably pixel perfect or close, but it's consistent so it's fine)
then dodge the rest
---- last spell
stay in the middle
then there's branching:
1. if bamboo branches make x-like formations, then:
1a. if there's two x, then one x above, then go up and hang around there
1b. if it's 1a but upside down, then i'm not sure, stay down?
2. if the branches point in one direction, dodge bullets from that direction, then as soon as stalks stop existing, you go against the flow and dodge near their origins (your path and their paths will form an acute angle if you did it right)
on the second wave you avoid the centre and enter the lane closest to kaguya's current position, dodge roses (they're very thick)
i'm not sure how the second wave works, i think the routes above still work somewhat? i'll route if necessary
one more thing, the highest you can go is a bit above the lowermost joint
