Elden Ring - Character Creation, Tutorial, and A Bit of Exploring
19NOTE: I originally uploaded this at the end of February, shortly after the game came out. Youtube seemed to get stuck on processing it though. Spent several days processing it, only to leave it at 480p. I only just bothered to check it again, and it seems it did eventually process the 4K/60 version, so I decided to post it now. Ah well.
Yeah, this isn't quite my usual fare. I don't normally go for 'punishing difficulty' games, but the open world nature appealed to me.
This video covers my Character Creation, Tutorial, and exploring a bit of the area around the exit of the tutorial section. I chose to play Astrologer.
It's pretty good IMO, though as expected it's easy to die. Doesn't help that I keep pressing the wrong button on the controller. Hopefully once I get used to the controls properly I won't be quite so bad.
Running this with a 3080ti. It averages around 45fps? Never noticed framerate issues, just the occasional bit of stutter, as has been reported by other people.and reviews.
