Whenever you get a hug from Fia, you get a Baldachin's Blessing, which can be used to get a temporary boost to your poise. It also gives you a small debuff to your HP which goes away once you use the blessing. The debuff isn't great for you (-5%) and honestly the blessing is really only situationally useful (15 second 50% buff to poise), so it's best to just use the blessing whenever you get a hug from Fia. If you want to use the blessing, as I demonstrated, it will stick around after resting at a grace, but not warping, but again it lasts 15 seconds so if you rest at a grace it's probably used up anyway.
