Elden Ring has a MAJOR problem...
FromSoft has an issue with the netcode in their souls like games. Dark Souls hackers found problems with FromSoftware and their servers leading to Dark Souls online being taken offline. Online features for PC users may be broken on Elden Ring's release. This does not mean the game is bad but please be informed and careful about online usage.
UPDATE: Elden Ring will be using Easy Anti-Cheat on PC. This a whole other discussion on whether this actually stops hackers or just modders. We will have to see how EAC is implemented on release to know how it works out. Hopefully we still have an offline mode where EAC doesn't need to be active.
