This was a pretty wild part... We start off our journey this time in Jarburg which is probably the most peaceful place in the lands between where the jars are living happily and in tranquility. Unfortunately, that's about all the peace we will experience today... After leaving Jarburg we explore around the area of the Tibia Mariner boss from last time, heading slightly north where we find the Artist's Shack sight of grace. We decide to tussle with a lighting night after resting which was surprisingly challenging especially the second time. Once we defeat the knight, we get a new spell book which we immediately take to the roundtable hold to learn of its secrets. We picked up the lightening spear incantation which I can already tell is going to be our new go-too projectile spell, possibly replacing the fireball. Once we head back to the artist's shack sight of grace, we decide to take on the lightening knight one more time which ends up getting personal after while... Eventually we get back to exploring after finally showing the Knight whose boss, finding and easily conquering a fire monk's encampment for fun. We end up at the big tower we were running around when we were fighting the Tibia Mariner last time, named the Carian Study Hall which holds vast secrets within... probably... We find that there's an altar of sorts with a place to put something we just don't know what that item is yet. Heading up the tower via magic elevator, we are immediately attacked by a powerful sorcerer named the Preceptor Miriam which fought us aggressively with strong range spells. After defeating this invader, we ended up getting killed by rats, so they continue to hold the title of most dangerous enemy in Elden Ring. We find a cool medallion that will help our FP and continue on after we explored all we seemingly could in that tower. Was not able to figure out how to cross the bridge however which was a little disappointing, but we'll put that on the list of things to revisit. Wrapping up this part, we head north from the tower where we think we might find an Evergaol but in fact we find a massive golem protecting another river well entrance like we found in the forest of Limgrave. We'll enter it next episode but for now, we decided to do something very dumb and mess with a pair of rune bears not too far behind the entrance. I wanted to test out how powerful the cheese of the spinning slash ash of war is on the Banished Knights Spear when it's combined with the Bloodflame Blade incantation... And I was not disappointed.... :)
