How to get this working on Windows 7/8/10, a guide for non-programmers
- Download the newest exe files from http://www.iquilezles.org/prods/index.htm
- Download the newest version of Crinkler from http://www.crinkler.net/
- Put the file 'crinkler.exe' into the folder where you unpacked the demo files
- Create a '.bat' file in the same folder with the text:
crinkler /RECOMPRESS elevated_1920x1080_hq.exe /OUT:elevated_1920x1080_hq_win7.exe
- Crinkler will re-compress the exe file to the newest version using the /RECOMPRESS option and will make it work on new operating systems in the process.
- Launch the newly created 'elevated_1920x1080_hq_win7.exe' but make sure that MSI Afterburner is not running (overlay caused the demo to crash on my PC).
- Enjoy the pure genius on your super-high-end future PC hardware.
