This was pretty wild to see falls and one guy get crushed by an elevator. Fortunately, elevator action returns: S-Tribute includes the original, 1 save state (no idea why shared between 2 games), rewind and slow motion for both games.

In the original, it is primitive (one player, stiff movement as you have to press up again after moving to duck) and you actually have to press down on the rug parts to enter all the red doors to proceed.

It also helps to fake out enemies (all these guys are surprisingly on easy mode) when going up or down the elevator as riding it makes you vulnerable, and there are some attached by a cable, meaning the multiple elevators have to be between 2 floors, so you can't have them touch and must choose another to continue. Escalators as well, so there are some puzzles.
