It's unreal how this fun little device is getting review bombed over only buy when $2 sale ($40 is overpriced of course). It's more of an app to simulate having a few things from a smartphone or tablet, which is fun to say my switch can do math without overpaying for some of the crazier one function apps like calculator (AAA Clock has a confusing amount of dlc though it includes a game).
Sliding puzzles (5×5 is too tough for me but I liked the 3x3 dog), calculator, though the notepad/checklist do take time to type out.
I liked the textures for painting (which I liked more than colors live as it doesn't really teach you, you cannot finish earlier than about 15 unpaused mins nor can you create more than 1 assignment per day, please tell me if it updates as the sonar pen was wasted potential).
It's fun for the experience, though you have to use a mix of touch screen and gamepad controls (I wouldn't use this docked) as I couldn't close out when clicking the X, nor scroll the paintbrush size by touching.
There's no means to integrate stuff into your actual switch OS (I would have liked if Nintendo would let you customize your backgrounds with pictures you take) nor upload online, but it was a fun experience similar to puzzle and watch's digital unboxing and playing tough but primitive puzzle games for a moment. They did add free dlc too.
I am glad people are trying to do more to make the switch feel like a tablet or game and watch. Pokemon TV was a nice add-on though sadly pokemon tcg live (old one discontinued March 2023) is not playable on switch).
