You've always been able to stream using Elgato's Game Capture devices. Now it's even easier to live stream on YouTube with an update to the Elgato's game capture hd software update.

I've run several streams using my Elgato Game Capture HD and found them to be extremely easy to set up and to manage. The resulting video on YouTube also retained acceptable quality for a live stream.

During a few streams, we had some of the sound cut out at different times for short periods, but I imagine that was more related to the internet and CPU load than anything the Elgato app was causing.

This works for the elgato game capture hd and the elgato game capture hd60.
