Star Ocean is by far my favorite Japanese Role Playing Game series. However, here are 3 things I'd like to see improved in the newest installment Star Ocean V: Integrity and Faithlessness.

Keep in mind, I use the word "improve" loosely. I think Star Ocean is fine the way it is. There are just a few evolutions I'd like to see take place given changes modern gaming has applied to games in the west.

I often try and decide which Star Ocean is my favorite between The Second Story and The Last Hope. If The Second Story had The Last Hope's engine, I think there would be no contest. Especially given how bad the voice acting was in The Last Hope.
