Testing how a PS2 game should look after being recorded with Elgato Game Capture HD & processed with Sony Vegas.

Since the PS2 isn't an HD console, you kinda have to use a video editor like Vegas to force that on its games. Even then, 720p doesn't make this video look much different from 480p.

The difference is only slight. Switch between the two & see for yourself.

Specifically, for Jak & Daxter & its two sequels, the most legitimate way you can get actual HD quality out of the videos for these games is to record their remastered PS3 versions from the Jak & Daxter Collection.
