Mega Man 6: Tomahawk Man Stage Redo: Getting the Energy Balancer
55Thanks to a person known as boombafunk, I forgot to do this LONG after I got through with my Mega Man 6 playthrough.
In Tomahawk Man's stage, there's one area with two routes. One of those routes can only be reached with Jet Mega Man.
I took that route during the playthrough, but here I won't, because the Energy Balancer is somewhere in the other route. You'll need Power Mega Man's charge shot to break open a cracked block while hanging on the bottom of the ladder next to it. Or you can charge shot the block while jumping towards it, and hope that you still have a tiny bit of time left to land where the block was.
Go into the room you just uncovered, and there you'll find Proto Man. After that big incident involving him in Mega Man 5, he's become even less relevant here than he was in Mega Man 4.
Anyway, he throw the Energy Balancer at you and then leaves. This item automatically takes any weapon energy you pick up, and if your current weapon is already full, the collected energy instead refills the unequipped weapon with the lowest energy.
That way, you can save yourself a little bit of time from having to pause the game just to switch to a weapon you want to recharge. Though if you have several weapons that aren't full, you may end up doing that, anyway.

Since this is the last Mega Man 6 video I uploaded, you won't be seeing this item in my playthrough, since I already got that done a long time ago.
