I recently got a new PC after about 7 months playing only on a bookcamped mac. The difference is quite amazing.

Although a new PC, it has my old GTX980 in it which was salvaged from my old PC... despite that, settings are all on Ultra and I get a frame rate of about 120-150 on surface vsync and frame rate limit turned off.

I also demonstrate an EDtracker Pro (usb) which adds quite a lot to the experience.
Its a cheaper alternative to something like the TrackIR except it uses a magnetic compass to monitor head movements. Many people have tried to do this using a cell phone, but it tends to be somewhat jittery. The EDTracker is an awesome addition.
