Elite Dangerous Combat: Exploit That Axis
This video might be somewhat redundant, I'm not really sure... It seems like hardly anyone I watch videos from seems to be trying to move along the yaw axis of their opponent in any nose to nose situations, like I try to teach in this video, so maybe it'll help someone.
Essentially, pitch (up and down) and roll are the fastest ways a ship can move. If you move along a ships yaw axis (left and right) and roll when they roll to force yourself back onto their yaw axis, you make yourself almost impossible to hit with a fixed laser when going nose to nose. Though, if you can, avoid nose to nose altogether.
Beating an Anaconda in a Vulture isn't that hard, but if you get a couple of Eagles and a Python firing at you in a Conflict Zone like this during the Anaconda battle, you're going to need to avoid those fixed beams to save your shields.
