Sorry about all the ums and ers in some parts of this video, as it was recorded 'live'. I have a stammer and rather than stumbling on my word, I insert those in to keep myself going.

Anyway, this is Rogue System, a space sim that the company I work for (an indie developer) are publishing for one of its employees. He tried to get this on Kickstarter, but I think suffered from bad timing with ED and SC just having been there. Even though he was showing a more complete game at the time than either of them, it just didn't happen, so our employers stepped up and funded him what the Kickstarter would have (though not enough for him to hire the extra staffing he wanted).

This sim is a HARDCORE space sim, fully newtonian physics. Detailed as far down as the fact that when you fire a projectile it will displace your ship. But not only that, the software has a massive background simulation affecting both the objects and pilot within it.

In this video, you'll see a startup procedure all the way from 'emergency power' to 'flight ready' as well as undocking from an external station umbilical.
