I found a point of interest in Elite: Dangerous that was labelled "Piracy Activity - Threat 7". If you have a good ship, bounty hunting here is more challenging, more rewarding and most importantly more fun.

Ships with large bounties such as the Anaconda and Fer-De-Lance spawn here extremely regularly and definitely a lot more frequent than in regular Resource Extraction Sites. My largest bounty ever awarded was in this video at upwards of 500k, and I can only assume that the payouts are even higher.

Since this is Elite Dangerous, this variation of a classic Hazardous RES is faster paced and more fun with less waiting around for ships to spawn. I did not have to wait for ship spawns - all targets in this video were found consecutively over a course of around 15 minutes.

In order for this piracy activity with a threat level of 7 to spawn, a system must be in lockdown and must be either an industrial or refinery economy.
