Within Elite Dangerous the Sol system, our solar system, is permit locked unless you, uh, have a Sol Permit. As an original Alpha Backer of the Kickstarter Campaign back in 2014 - I have that permit on my PC account. Yay.

In this series, cunningly entitled "The Sol Series" we take a look at the ins and outs of our solar system.

Episode 2 - Mercury

We have a look at Mercury in the system map overall and find a Tourist Beacon regarding some in-game lore surrounding The Birthright Wars.

We launch from Mercury Orbital Station "Deadalus" and land at the planetary surface location "Erhlich City", which, frankly, looks great.

We then head out in the SRV to see what Mercury has to offer.
