In this part, we take on the Elite Four Class. To complete the class, we must read through the entire Lecture and answer a question at the end of each section. Once the Lecture is done, we take a 10 question Test on everything we learned in that Lecture, and you must answer 8 of the 10 questions right to pass. Lastly, we battle a set amount of trainers. Each trainer represents something we learned in the Lecture and we must show in battle how to deal with the situation by choosing the correct 3 Pokémon and winning the battle. Once the Lecture, Test, and Battles are complete we receive the Raichu Medal, and finish the Elite Four Class, and Earl's Academy.

Note: During the Battle segments, there will be skipping as the battles start and finish as my HD recording device is not a fan of recording off an N64. This is also the case in Trainer Class and Gym Leader Class, sorry!

Battle 1: Cooltrainer Connor
Pokémon to Use: Pikachu, Marowak, Shuckle
Strategy: The other trainer will spam Hyper Beam. Switch in Shuckle to take the Hyper Beams, then quickly switch in Pikachu to defeat Gyarados, Remoraid, Kingler, and Seadra; or switch in Marowak to defeat Muk, or Magcargo.

Battle 2: Cooltrainer Becky
Pokémon to Use: Scyther, Raichu, Raticate
Strategy: The other trainer will raise their attack on the first turn the Pokémon is out, then spam Hyper Beam. As Scyther, use Agility on the first turn as they will use Swords Dance or a similar move to raise Attack power. Use Detect on the second turn to survive Hyper Beam. Use Reversal to deal massive damage on the 3rd Turn. If they took more than half their health in damage, finish them with Reversal on the 4th Turn, otherwise use Endure, then Reversal in that order until they are defeated. Once a new enemy Pokémon comes out, it will raise it's attack on the first turn, so remember to use Agility on their first appearing turn, before starting the Endure/Reversal combo.


Battle 3: Juggler Ferris
Pokémon to Use: Steelix, Poliwrath, Golem
Strategy: Use Steelix to deal with Dragonite, and use Toxic to poison it. Then use Bind while the poison does it's job, their attacks shouldn't do much against your steel type. Send out Poliwrath if Tyranitar comes out. Use Mind Reader, then DynamicPunch for a guaranteed hit and repeat until it is down. Send out Golem if Typhlosion, Magmar, Arcanine, or Flraeon come out. Use Defense Curl to raise defense and power up Rollout, then use Rollout to crush them all.

Battle 4: Swimmer Julian
Pokémon to Use: Houndoom, Exeggutor, Jumpluff
Strategy: Use Sunny Day to cancel Rain Dance if they use it. With Sunny Day in play, use Solar Beam to take down anything you can with Houndoom or Jumpluff. If you have Exeggutor out, use Stomp if they use Minimize to deal extra damage, and with Sunny Day in play Synthesis will fully heal you.
