Elixir Hand Tracking Overview On The Oculus Quest
14Elixir is a narrative virtual reality experience using integrated finger and hand tracking. We’re combining the sense of safety provided by the virtual medium - and the new sense of presence afforded by finger tracking - to draw the user in and experiment with scenarios that would normally cause aversion.
Our world is brooding and mysterious - adorned with strange and colorful characters to lure the audience. It’s a realm of alchemical wonder and magic! Our goal is to inspire a sense of optimistic curiosity in a world of elemental danger, while allowing users to delight in the mayhem they cause.
We’re pushing open the doors for a new generation of storytelling that puts the story (literally) into the hands of the audience. This is the start of a new era in immersive storytelling. One that is more visceral and capable of different degrees of empathy than have been previously explored.
