The actor and Elizabeth Hurley co-starred in "Serving Sara" in 2002. Perry played a process server who falls for Hurley's Sara while attempting to deliver her divorce papers in the romantic comedy.

Hurley recently discussed working on the project with Perry with Yahoo! Entertainment, and she emphasised that the film suffered as a result of the star's problems at the time.

She said: "To be honest, it was a nightmare working with him at that time and, as it's now known, our movie was shut down because of his addiction."

Due to Perry's two-month rehab admission following the filming of Chandler and Monica's (Courtney Cox) wedding on "Serving Sara" "Friends." had to take a two-month break.

Hurley and the team had a lot of downtime as a result, which was unfortunate. We had to spend some time at home fidgeting because of a force majeure, she said.

Despite the fact that the actor described the experience as "rough" Perry "was fabulous" once he ultimately returned to the set and filming could resume.

Hurley continued by noting that she found it tough to see her co-star battle his addiction, but she made a point of calling him "lovely" despite his challenging circumstances.
