The star of "Doogie Howser, M.D." opened out exclusively to Page Six about having pituitary dwarfism, a condition marked by a lack of growth hormone and abnormally small height.
He said at the "Tulsa King" premiere on Wednesday, "I was administered testosterone.“I was on growth hormones; I’m still on those things. My body didn’t go through the change by itself.
"Because my pituitary gland has been dysfunctional from birth, I had to artificially induce puberty by being pumped full of growth hormones and testosterone because it wasn't happening naturally. I hadn't even shaven until I was 25."
